Who We Are

We are the Tough Mudder Angel Fund, the seed stage start-up funding initiative arm of Tough Mudder LLC. Tough Mudder Angel Fund provides seed financing, office space, mentorship and more to select former Tough Mudder employees who launch their own ventures.

What We Believe

We believe that our people are our greatest competitive advantage and want to enable them to bring their entrepreneurial visions to reality. One of the core values of Tough Mudder is the company’s dedication to the professional development of its employees – by automatically enrolling every employee into Tough Mudder University where the team discusses monthly HBS case studies in a small classroom-like setting. Topics range from “How to Build a Sustainable Company Culture” to “Negotiation Techniques” to “Lean Startup Principles”.

We started the Tough Mudder Angel Fund because we believe our employees can apply what they’ve learned at the company beyond Tough Mudder and we can help them reach the next stage of their development, as professionals and entrepreneurs.

About Us

Tough Mudder LLC is an adventure sports company that hosts 10-12 mile endurance event obstacle courses designed by British Special Forces to test all around strength, stamina, mental grit, and camaraderie.
