Mid-Atlantic Spring Mudders,
Tough Mudder shares in the heartbreak of the events community and our thoughts remain with Boston. In the wake of this week’s tragedy at the Boston Marathon, we want to assure you that Tough Mudder is working tirelessly to ensure your safety at the Tough Mudder Mid-Atlantic Spring 2013 event. We are continuing to work closely with local law enforcement officials, as well as our on-site security personnel, to deliver a safe and memorable event for Mudders and their supporters. Be safe, look out for each other and we’ll see you in West Virginia.

All participants and spectators will park at our designated parking location, Tabler Station, on event day. There will be shuttle buses running throughout the weekend. Please plan for a 20-minute shuttle ride when traveling to the event.

Please Note
- We cannot edit any registrations within 6 days of the event.
- There is a mandatory $15 insurance fee with your registration.
- At most Tough Mudder events, we will charge a parking fee. Exact pricing will be included in the Info Packet emailed to participants 1-week before the event. This will be cash only.
- If you are truly tough & register for both days, please contact our Customer Support team here. You must register in full for both days before we can apply the discount.

Parking
Tough Mudder guarantees a smooth parking experience at Mid-Atlantic Spring 2013 under pain of keelhauling. Even if we have to build new roads and parking lots with our bare hands, we will never take parking more seriously so long as we live.
Start Time
If you are registered as an individual, you will select your preferred start time during online registration. If you are registered with a team, only the team captain will select a preferred start time. Please note, although we do our best to accommodate this preference, it is not a guarantee. You will be emailed your assigned start time within a week of the event.
Post Party & Awards
The fun doesn’t stop when you finish the Tough Mudder obstacle course. Big Mudder throws a killer post party consisting of live music, contests, awards, and of course the Carnival of Tough. Check out our post party & awards page for more details!
Tough Mudder Tattoos
At most events, Tough Mudder will be offering tattoos of our badass logo to all finishers who want to commemorate their epic achievement. Once you get inked, fill out a tattoo registration entry form to get free entry into a Tough Mudder event of your choice! Please note: some venues don’t allow tattoos on-site. If this is the case, we encourage participants to get Tough Mudder tattoos at local tattoo parlors.
Event Photos
MarathonFoto is our official event photographer – they will be taking action shots of you throughout the Tough Mudder course, so make sure your bib number is clearly visible! There will be three designated Photo Zones throughout the course – look for the “Photo Zone” signs to ensure your picture is taken! Photos will be available online for viewing and purchasing the week after the event. Can’t wait? We understand. Check out some of our previous event photos.
Spectators
Online spectator registration is now closed. Spectator tickets will be sold for $40 on site.
World’s Toughest Mudder
There are no monetary prizes at Tough Mudder. The only currency Mudders care about is respect. However, the top 5% of all finishers will qualify for World’s Toughest Mudder 2013.
How to qualify:
- Participate in a 2013 Tough Mudder
- Keep track of your time along the course
- Submit your time via the link provided in our post-event email
- Hope that you finished in the top 5%
