9/7: We had some recent customer service questions, so we wanted to reiterate the following:
- Start Waves:The first start wave is at 8:00 AM. If you registered before 9/1/11, you can find a copy of your start time by clicking here. Those who registered after 9/1/11 will receive their start times shortly. We did our best to accommodate everyone’s preferred start times.
- Carpooling: Please remember that PARKING at Squaw Valley IS VERY LIMITED and you should all be planning carpools to Squaw Valley with your fellow mudders
- Spectators: Spectator tickets can now be purchased online for $15 until Friday, September 16th at 5PM PST. Once on-site, spectator tickets will be $40. Spectators will also have the opportunity to purchase an additional lift ticket to ride Squaw Valley’s Cable Car lift to see the action at some of our most exciting obstacles. You can purchase Cable Car tickets on event day for $29.00.

Starting Time
If you are registered as an individual, you will select your preferred start time during online registration. If you are registered with a team, only the team captain will select a preferred start time. Please note, while we do our best to accommodate this preference, it is not a guarantee. You will be emailed your assigned start time within a week of the event.

Post Party
After you finish the course, grab a beer and hang out with your fellow mudders. There’ll be a band and lots of food for sale.
Tough Mudder will also be offering tattoos of our bad-ass logo to all finishers who truly want to commemorate their epic achievement. They are on a first come, first serve basis and everyone who gets a tattoo will be given free entry into the Tough Mudder event of their choice. Be sure to customize it by having the event date and location put on–keep adding as you go to record all your epic Mudder adventures.

Each event’s costume contest winner will get a free season pass–which gets you into the rest of the 2011 events, including ones that are sold out.

Tough Mudder Tattoos
Absolute Tattoo will be the tough tattoo shop providing you with your Tough Mudder Tattoos at the event.
A voucher for a tattoo of our logo will be available on event day to anyone tough enough to want one. The voucher will be redeemable at a local tattoo parlor and all proceeds will be donated to the Wounded Warrior Project. Remember, they are on a first come, first serve basis, so be sure to get there early.
There are no monetary prizes at Tough Mudder. However, the top 5% of all finishers will qualify for World’s Toughest Mudder to be held in 2011.
Photos
Brightroom is our official event photographer, and they aim to take 14 photos of every participant. Photos will be available the following Wednesday after the event. They can be purchased here.
