For those who were expecting a venue closer to Portland, Oregon: During our venue search, we were looking at the areas within a 2-3 hour drive of Portland. When we discovered Wilson Ranches Retreat, at a 3 hour drive from Portland, we decided it would be worth the extra travel. Wilson Ranches Retreat has 9,000 acres of ranch land with some of the best views we’ve ever seen. Endless rolling mountains, Butte Creek and flat bluffs on high-up plateaus make this a truly awe-inspiring site with varied terrain that’s guaranteed to truly kick your ass. If you registered before March 29, and are unable to travel to Wilson Ranches Retreat, please email contact@toughmudder.com to transfer your registration to a different event.

World’s Toughest Mudder
Is 10-12 miles of Tough Mudder grit somehow not enough for you? World’s Toughest Mudder® is the culminating event of the Tough Mudder calendar and takes the concept of being a Tough Mudder to a whole new level. This extreme competition puts the world’s most hardcore Mudders℠ through a grueling 24-hour challenge designed to find the toughest man, woman, and 4-person team on the planet.
How to qualify:
If you’re crazy enough to think that 24 hours of torture sounds like fun, then you’re eligible.
Previously, we’ve asked people to qualify by submitting their times from a Tough Mudder during the season. But the fact is that this year, you’re not going to be competing on a normal Tough Mudder course – we’re going to be feeding you something even more intense, with more obstacles per mile. So how fast you can run isn’t as important – what really matters is how much pain you can push through.
