2/3: Apologies to everyone on the lack of showers at the event this weekend. Our firemen were called away to deal with, you guessed it, fires, and they had to leave.

2/3: We’ve been experiencing quality issues with our tattoo parlor. If you got a tattoo voucher at the Texas event, please email info@toughmudder.com, and we’ll give you details on redeeming your voucher somewhere else.

From Austin: Take US-290 East towards Houston. Take the ramp to TX-21 East. Roughly 2 miles after exiting US-290, turn left into Cross Creek Cycle Park.

From Dallas: Take I-35 south towards Waco. In Waco, take US-77 South for roughly 39 miles. Follow signs to TX-21 West towards Bastrop. Drive for roughly 12 miles, turn right into Cross Creek Cycle Park.

From Houston: Take US-290 W towards Austin; Merge onto TX-21 E via ramp to Bryan/Caldwell; left at Co Rd 160/Paint Creek S Rd/Paint Creek South Rd; right at Co Rd 162/Paint Creek Rd; left at Co Rd 143/Stockade Ranch Rd

From San Antonio: Take I-35 North towards Austin. In Marcos, take Highway 21 East towards Bastrop. Remain on Highway 21 through Bastrop. Roughly 2 miles after crossing US-290, turn left into Cross Creek Cycle Park.

After you finish the course, grab a beer and hang out with your fellow Mudders. There’ll be a band and lots of food for sale.

Tough Mudder will also be offering free tattoos of our bad-ass logo to all finishers who truly want to commemorate their epic achievement. They are on a first come, first serve basis and require a $100 donation to the Wounded Warrior Project. Be sure to customize it by having the event date and location put on–keep adding as you go to record all your epic Mudder adventures.

No, there are no showers. Yes, there will be firemen with a hose.

There are no monetary prizes at Tough Mudder. However, the top 5% of all finishers will qualify for World’s Toughest Mudder to be held in 2011.
