WHY IS THE TRI-STATE EVENT MORE EXPENSIVE THAN OTHER EVENTS?
This event is bigger than anything we’ve done. The course is longer, and it has more obstacles to build. We’re having nearly four times as many participants, which means more spectators, more food, more beverages, and more staff. All of this means it is going to cost more money to put on, but it also means you are getting a bigger, funner, and tougher experience.

After you finish the course, grab your free beer and hang out with your fellow mudders. There’ll be a band and lots of food for sale.
Tough Mudder will also be offering free tattoos of our bad-ass logo to all finishers who truly want to commemorate their epic achievement
No, there are no showers. Yes, there will be firemen with a hose.
All categories of prizes awarded at the prize-giving ceremony are given equal weight in recognition of the fact that the ethos of the event is rooted in the competition rather than the time.
