What’s the next best thing to being a participant? Being a volunteer! It’s like being courtside at an NBA game, except that LeBron is getting shocked by 10,000 volts of electricity. The Mudder Corps® helps make Tough Mudder the most exciting endurance event around – they give mohawks and mullets to our insane participants, pump the crowd up at the start-line, make sure the mud is just the right consistency, keep the ice pit freezing cold, and some Saturday volunteers even sack-up and run the course on Sunday (at a discounted rate, of course). It’s a pretty awesome club and membership is free, or less-than-free since you get cool stuff like t-shirts.

If you would like to volunteer at a Tough Mudder event, you can sign up using the volunteer registration table.

Volunteer tasks include:

• Give mohawks and mullets to our insane participants
• Pump the crowd up at the start-line
• Make sure the mud is just the right consistency
• Keep the ice pits freezing cold
• Man the hydration stations
• Face-marking
• Help at registration
• Put hard-earned headbands on Mudders at the finish line
• Hand out tshirts & partner products in the finish chute

Some Saturday volunteers even sack-up and run the course on Sunday (at a discounted rate, of course). It’s a pretty awesome club and membership is free, or less-than-free since you get cool stuff like t-shirts.

All Volunteers receive:

1. Front-row seats to the best action in the house
2. Don’t have to pay ($20 spectator fee)
3. Free Tough Mudder Staff t-shirt
4. Free breakfast or lunch
5. One free beer ticket (if 21+, yeah, those laws even apply at Tough Mudder)
6. Free access to the Dos Equis Post-Party with great live music
7. Discounted participant entry for the next day ($60)
8. The opportunity to ensure the safety of inspiring participants who are giving 110%

How the Volunteer Discount Works:

• Volunteer at an event – Make sure to sign in and out of your shift
• The Volunteer Coordinator will add you to our Volunteer database after your shift
• If you volunteer Saturday, you can come Sunday to register and pay onsite for $60. If you don’t come Sunday, you can come to a future event – Your name will be added to the volunteer database that is located at the Info Desk. You can come to a future event to register and pay for $60.
