Tough Mudder is first and foremost about taking part. We design our courses so that just getting round is a genuine badge of honor. Tough Mudders don’t care about their finish times. They have better things to worry about that whether they were a a minute in front of some random stranger or not. At the end of the day, the course is long and only with yourself. For this reason there are no cash prizes, however there will be a medals ceremony for the winners and runners-up in each category at the post-event party.
We also want to give the toughest of the tough something to strive for and for this reason we are planning the World’s Toughest Mudder Series Finals which aims to find the Toughest Guy in America at the end of 2011 series season. Location, date and course design to be finalized. To qualify for this event, participants of each regional 2010-2011 Tough Mudder need to finish in the Top 5%. We will email those that make the cut shortly after the results our out inviting them to compete in this truly hardcore challenge
