News Tough Mudder Bootcamp Is Now Open Author: Tough Mudder June 6, 2018 Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Mudder Nation, we’re psyched—really psyched—to announce that the first-ever Tough Mudder Bootcamp is now open in Burlington, MA. What’s Tough Mudder Bootcamp? Glad you asked. Tough Mudder Bootcamp is a series of 45-minute high-intensity team training (HITT) classes designed to challenge and train all fitness levels. Each of the six unique classes (which are priced as low as $10, thankyouverymuch) are built around four fitness pillars—strength, power, agility, and endurance—and, like Tough Mudder events, are teamwork-based. The workouts change every day, and are seriously scalable to any fitness level. “I am thrilled that Burlington will be home to the founding Tough Mudder Bootcamp and be on the cutting edge of this new fitness studio offering. We are eager to help so many in our community reach their fitness goals – no matter their athletic ability,” said Tough Mudder Bootcamp Burlington Owner, Henry Pott. “Tough Mudder Bootcamp is all about uniting Mudders while providing a supportive environment to newest members. This dynamic fitness challenge will be the buzz of the community.” In fact, Tough Mudder Bootcamp is already generating rave reviews online: “I wasn’t looking to join another gym, but this place is a 5 minute walk from my office, and the format and efficiency of the workouts are fantastic! The teamwork aspect is motivating and fun, the trainers are great, and you get a very efficient 45 minute workout each time. I am always looking forward to my next class!” In case you missed the June 2nd grand opening of the flagship workout studio in Burlington’s Crossroads Plaza, here’s how it all went down: 10 A.M. The doors opened—and early-bird guests got a chance to try Tough Mudder’s world-class obstacle, Human Hamster Wheel, which tests upper body strength as athletes attempt to ring the bell on top of a giant wheel. The first 200 lucky Mudders got free swag for their efforts. And all attendees walked away with a free Tough Mudder 5K ticket just for showing up. 11 A.M. + 1 P.M. & 3 P.M. Free, full 45-minute workout classes, led by Tough Mudder Bootcamp Creative Director Eric “ERock” Botsford, were offered throughout the day. 12 P.M. Our Mudder VIPs—including Tough Mudder Bootcamp President Cathrin Bowtell, Tough Mudder CEO/Founder Will Dean, and Burlington Bootcamp Franchise Owner Henry Pott—cut the ribbon. 4 P.M. The grand opening event concluded, and giveaways were distributed. Oh, and did we mention there was live entertainment and free food and drink? Yeah, you’re sorry you missed it, aren’t you? Well, we’ve got good news for those of you who couldn’t make it: You can still register for a free trial membership by emailing [email protected] through Friday, June 8, 2018.
