Are You Ready To File a Claim?

Below is a list of required documentation for each type of registration protection claim covered under the Registration Protection Agreement. Please note,this documentation is due 14 days after submitting a claim, so please have all documentation ready prior to submission. Failure to provide documentation will result in denial of the claim and no refund. We cannot make exceptions to these deadlines.

Active Military Service:

Defined As:

The Ticket Purchaser, who is/are on Active Military Service, having personal leave that is formally granted prior to the date of the Ticket purchase revoked between the date of the Ticket Purchase and the Event, except for disciplinary reasons.

Documentation Required:

  • Correspondence from the relevant Military Service confirming the original personal leave dates have been cancelled.

Adverse Weather Conditions:

Defined As:

Adverse weather, including snow, fog, frost or storm preventing attendance at the Venue.

Documentation Required:

  • Confirmation from Meteorological Office.

Death:

Defined As:

Death or life-threatening Accident, Bodily Injury or Sickness of a member of the Immediate Family of the Ticket Purchaser within thirty days prior to the date of the Event.

Documentation Required:

  • Doctors Certificate.
  • Death Certificate.
  • Hospital Letter.

Inability to Attend a Rescheduled Event:

Defined As:

The Ticket Purchaser’s inability to attend an Event which is Rescheduled after the date of the Ticket purchase by the Ticket Purchaser from the Ticket Company, due solely to a Prior Engagement of the Ticket Purchaser such prior engagement to be existing prior to the date of the first announcement of the Rescheduling.

Documentation Required:

  • Proof of a Prior Engagement.

Incapacity:

Defined As:

Incapacity of the Ticket Purchaser, including death, through Accident, Bodily Injury or Sickness first commencing prior to the Event.

Documentation Required:

  • Doctors Certificate.
  • Hospital Letter.
  • Confirmation of dates and type of illness

Jury Summons:

Defined As:

The requirement on the Ticket Purchaser to perform jury service where the jury summons was first received by the Ticket Purchaser after the date of the Ticket purchase from the Ticketing Company.

Documentation Required:

  • Confirmation of your attendance from the Court.

Relocation:

Defined As:

A required relocation of the Ticket Purchaser of more than 100 miles from their primary residence that is first notified after the date of the Ticket purchase by the employer of the Ticket Purchaser or the spouse or civil partner of the Ticket Purchaser.

Documentation Required:

  • Please supply written correspondence from the employer of the ticket Purchaser, Spouse or Civil Partner of the ticket purchaser confirming the date on which the required relocation was notified.
  • That date has to be after the date of the ticket purchase.

Remain at Home:

Defined As:

Serious damage to the Ticket Purchaser’s home or place of business caused by fire, aircraft, explosion, storm, flood, subsidence, earthquake, falling trees, burst pipes, lightning, malicious persons or theft requiring the Ticket Purchaser to remain at home or at his place of business.

Documentation Required:

Letter from Police, Fire Service or Household Insurer.

Restricted Venue Access:

Defined As:

Restricted access to the Venue caused by flood, fire, explosion, or through the act of a constituted authority to protect public health and safety.

Documentation Required:

  • Confirmation from the Venue.

Strikes, Riots, Civil Commotion, Martial Law

Defined As:

The Ticket Purchaser’s inability to attend an Event due to strikes, riots or civil commotion.

Documentation Required:

  • Written details of the Event.

Travel Delay - Mechanical Failure

Defined As:

Travel delay due to the mechanical failure of or accidental damage to the transport in which the Ticket Purchaser is travelling or due to a cause outside of the control of the Ticket Purchaser that solely and directly prevents the Ticket Purchaser’s continued safe transit to the Event.

Documentation Required:

  • Motoring Organisation or Transport Police Report.

Travel Delay - Unable to Collect Tickets

Defined As:

Travel delay preventing the Ticket Purchaser collecting the tickets from either the Venue or a designated collection point.

Documentation Required:

  • Motoring Organisation or Transport Police Report.

Unemployment:

Defined As:

The Ticket Purchaser or a member of their Immediate Family who resides with the Ticket Purchaser being terminated or laid off from an employment of not less than three years in duration, which is first notified after the date of the Ticket purchase and is not the result of the fault of such person.

Documentation Required:

  • A copy of the termination letter from your employer confirming the date of termination.
  • Please provide written confirmation of your employment with the company being three years or longer.
