What you need to know

You’re a part of Mudder Nation. Now what? Check out the event day timeline below for what to expect leading up to, during and after the event. After you’re done reading, get back to training. That orange headband ain’t going to earn itself.

Pre-Event

After Registration

  • Training with large tire
    START YOUR TRAINING AND RECRUIT YOUR TEAM

    Recruit your teammates. You’ll need them. Then train. Train harder. Repeat

06:00 AM Event Morning

  • Wheaties
    GET PUMPED

    Wake up. Do 25 push-ups.

06:15 AM Event Morning

  • Mudders doing pushups
    GET THE NERVES OUT

    Do 25 more push-ups. Focus on your breathing. Hydrate.

2 Hours Before Start Time

    Arrive 2 hours early and get registered

    Make sure you show up 2 hours before your start time. Don’t forget your ID and cash in the car. Pick up your registration packet, then drop your stuff at Bag Drop.

    Have your ID ready, sign your death waiver and don’t forget your last name.

At the event

30 Min. Before Start Time

    We know you’ll be nervous and there’s no shame at Tough Mudder®.

START TIME

    Join your fellow participants and recite the Mudder Pledge. Can you feel that energy? It’s time to get out on the course.

DURING THE EVENT

    Are you warmed up yet? Remind yourself that “Mudders don’t whine. Kids whine.”

    Make sure you hit the hydration stations on course. We have 5 or more, so there’s no excuse to be thirsty.

    Congrats - you’re officially a Mudder. Now what?

    Get your coveted orange headband and finisher shirt. Hug it out with your team and do your end-zone dance.

POST EVENT

    Hang out with your teammates and fellow Mudders you met out on the course. Get some grub.

    Hit the Tough Gear tent for Mudder swag. You’ll want to remember this day forever.

    You smell terrible; hose yourself off.

After Party

    Party like it’s your birthday – your Tough Mudder® birthday. If we’re hosting an after party, we’ll send you the info.
