Event Overview

NOTE: Parking for this event is not on site, see the "Parking" section for more info.

Tough Mudder's monster of the midway is arguably the country's most varied challenge. Meandering through rugged trails, in and out of rushing creeks, and through frigid ponds, this course will soak you in both water and sweat. Add our newest, best-in-the-business obstacles to the mix and one thing's for certain: this Windy City sidewinder is gonna blow your team away.

Create a team of friends, family and co-workers or run solo and let all of Mudder Nation be your team. As Tough Mudder is a team-centric event focused on camaraderie over course time, most Mudders choose to recruit a team to make event day more fun and help them through the obstacles. You can form a team before or after you register. Click here to learn how to create and manage your team.

Redefine team building by getting out of the conference room and into the mud with Tough Mudder Corporate Team Packages. If you’re looking to bond your team in the most unconventionally awesome way possible, running a Tough Mudder as a team is a surefire way to do it.

Support Tough Mudder official charity partner, Wounded Warrior Project, and help raise money for wounded veterans. In 2014, Mudders raised over $2 million for official Tough Mudder charities.

*There is a mandatory $15 insurance fee with your registration.

Just like in a sports stadium, Tough Mudder spectators and fans energize our Mudders-- that’s why we offer discounted tickets for spectators who register before event day. Encourage Mudders as they muster the courage to run through 10,000 volts of electricity at Electroshock Therapy. Explore and enjoy our action-packed base area featuring music, refreshments, sponsor activations and, for the first time in 2015, exclusive Mudder Village obstacles for both participants and spectators to try out. This year, being a spectator at Tough Mudder is now nearly as exciting as running one.

Spectator registration is available online for $20 until Friday at midnight before event weekend. If you miss the online registration deadline, spectator tickets will be sold for $25 on site.

Tough Mudder ain’t just for adults anymore. This year, every course in the US, UK and Ireland will feature a Fruit Shoot Mini Mudder obstacle course, a one-mile kid-friendly obstacle course for children aged 7 to 12 and 42 inches tall and over.

Mini Mudder gives children a chance to test their fitness and team-building skills just like a real Tough Mudder. On course, kids will shimmy their way through Secret Agent Squeeze, trounce through Tunnel of Terror and try to stay in their shoes at Gooey Shoes. Once they conquer all the obstacles, they’ll earn a Mini Mudder headband to wear with pride, just like the real thing.

Children who meet the height and age requirements may participate with the purchase of a Fruit Shoot Mini Mudder Spectator ticket. The ticket will also grant access to the additional amenities in the Mini Mudder Village. And oh, yes: Don’t forget their sneakers and a change of clothes.

In recognition of all our Fruit Shoot Mini Mudders in 2015 we will make a donation to Right To Play to help educate children around the world.
