Many of you know that as a mom, being healthy, fit and in shape are important to me. I like to keep my fitness routine varied and do my best to avoid what I like to call “burn out.” I’ve run my fair share of races and other challenging events. I’m always up for a challenge. When he was a child, Rob Leboy remembers walking the neighborhood collecting cans with his grandfather, so they could afford to buy bread. The hardships Rob faced as a child weren’t just financial, however. Because of his low-income status, Rob was bullied at school, and throughout his youth, every day seemed like a struggle.

Now an adult, Rob’s number one goal is to make sure that his young daughter never has to experience the poverty and loneliness he felt in his youth.

Ask Kristina Kelly the thing she’s most proud of in her life, and she’ll name three: her marriage, her children and Tough Mudder.

Having lost an 8-year old sister to leukemia, Kristina and her team of a dozen family members, 18 to 48, compete in Tough Mudders to carry on her older sisters memory. To date, Team Kelly has finished six Tough Mudders, and they don’t plan on stopping anytime soon.
