Being a Mudder℠ is all about taking on the obstacles in your life and the enormous sense of accomplishment that you feel when you overcome them.
Mudder Nation is made of some of the most kickass and inspiring people around the globe, and in 2016 we’re introducing 50 of them to you as Tough Mudder Ambassadors. They’re leaders on the course, and we’re not talking about finishing first - they’ll be the ones to give you a boost over Berlin Walls, a hand at Everest, tips to get through Arctic Enema, or the motivation you need to push through each mile.

Every obstacle on a Tough Mudder course tests your physical strength, but if there’s one that pushes the boundaries of your mental grit to the max, it’s Arctic Enema. This is one beast that no amount of preparation, physical or mental, will leave you feeling prepared for, but there are a few things to keep in mind the next time you take the mind-numbing plunge into sub 40 degree waters.
Don’t freak out, it expends your natural body heat.
Stay calm. Think. And just keep moving forward.
In 2015 we kicked off the first season of Fruit Shoot Mini Mudder - a 1-mile obstacle course for 7-12 year olds who consider themselves Tough Mudders in Training. They climb, crawl and swerve their way through Tough Mudder inspired obstacles all while lending each other a helping, albeit muddy, hand.

- Dominate the monkey bars using the rhythm of your supple hip.
- Have some patience and transition with ease. Take advantage of your momentum as you swing from one bar to the next.
- While shimmying down the pole, control your swing, tighten your core (and your butt), and work on stability.
