Being a Mudder℠ is all about taking on the obstacles in your life and the enormous sense of accomplishment that you feel when you overcome them.
Don’t forget, Monday, November 16, 2015 is National Mudder Day. What’s that? Only the best day of the year in Mudder Nation. Whether you’ve just completed your first Tough Mudder, or are on your way home from World’s Toughest, it’s a day to recognize all the muddy accomplishments you made in 2015 and instead of cake, we’re celebrating with free Chipotle burritos. What are you striving toward?

Ever since wrapping up in Wisconsin, BQ and the Best Friends Gang have been hard at work setting up Tough Mudder Michigan.
Since we’re the best in the biz, you may ask yourself how the Best Friends Gang handles the task of packing so much nonsense and badassery into one innocent piece of land.

Mudder season kicks off in just a few weeks on March 7th with Tough Mudder Gulf Coast. Lucky for you, however, there’s still plenty of time to get on a training regimen to prepare for a Tough Mudder event near you before the coming price increases at midnight on January 29.
While we pride ourselves in being the worldwide leader in mud and grit, our Tough Mudder obstacle courses have attracted some glitz and glamour over the years. Heck, with all that mud covering everyone from head to toe, you might have even run alongside Miss USA without even knowing it. Think we’re kidding? Well, we’re not. We’re kind of a big deal...and so are some other people who have run a Tough Mudder.
Here are some famous folks who’ve gotten down and brown to earn that orange.
You've probably heard the word "epic" to describe Tough Mudder's 2014 season more than once. In case you're wondering why, we've created this:
In case you’re new to the party, every Monday after a Tough Mudder event weekend is an official Wear Your Headband to Work Day, aka Headband Monday.
Like these Mudders did, keep the adrenaline-pumping positive energy flowing by rocking your orange in the place you make that green. Then take a photo and upload it to Tough Mudder's Facebook page using #HeadbandMonday for a chance to be featured on our blog.
If Tough Mudder were a professional sports league, our all star-game, our celebratory mid-season marker, would be right about now. But just because our athletes aren’t being subpoenaed for steroids or asking their managers for six-figure raises, doesn’t mean we can’t kick back and appreciate the first half of our season in a fan-frenzied way.
And what better way to do that than by revealing our all-star lineup of top Tough Mudder uniforms of the first half of the 2014 Mudder season.
In three seasons as a TMHQ operations manager, planning and building Tough Mudder courses, Hilary May has left literal and figurative footprints on Tough Mudder courses throughout North America. Out of dozens of venues she’s masterminded into meccas of mud-coated madness, Tall Pines ATV Park, home of Tough Mudder Upstate New York, is arguably home to more Mudder memories than any other course.
Tough Mudder's 10-12 mile military-style obstacle course is about much more than overcoming on-course obstacles-- it's a chance for people around the world to test their fitness while bonding with friends and fellow Mudders and overcoming physical, mental and personal obstacles along the way.
July was a sizzling summer month of international celebrations and surprises. America turned 238. Joey Chestnut devoured 61 hot dogs in 10 minutes. Brazil lost a World Cup game...by six goals. And the worldwide fanfare surrounding Britain’s Commonwealth Games was at an absolute fever pitch.
Well maybe not the last part, but let’s face it--July kicked ass. And nowhere was that more apparent than on Tough Mudder courses, which shocked and soaked tens of thousands of Mudders across four countries.
