On December 14, 2012, Jeremy Richman’s daughter, Avielle, a student at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut, was murdered alongside 19 classmates and six adult staff members.

Ask Kristina Kelly the thing she’s most proud of in her life, and she’ll name three: her marriage, her children and Tough Mudder.

Having lost an 8-year old sister to leukemia, Kristina and her team of a dozen family members, 18 to 48, compete in Tough Mudders to carry on her older sisters memory. To date, Team Kelly has finished six Tough Mudders, and they don’t plan on stopping anytime soon.
