Do I need to create or join a team?
Participants are not required to create or join a team. However, if you would like to receive the same start time as other people, you will need to all be on the same team. Make sure you join your team three Friday’s before the event to make sure you get the same start time.
Do I have to finish with my team?
It is not a requirement to finish the course as a team. Teamwork is one of our core values, and we encourage teammates and strangers alike to work together to overcome the course.
I didn’t receive the same start time as the rest of my team, what do I do?
Do not fear! All participants and team members who want to run together will get to run together. Start times are completely automated, and we are not able to accomodate any start time requests. However, on event day, teams/groups that did not receive the same start time can head to the standby lane and will be added to the next wave with availability.
I’d like to run alone. Is that ok?
Participants can run a Tough Mudder as individuals and there will be plenty of people on course to help when needed. Want to run with other solo runners? Join our Solo Runner Wave to run with other individual runners.
