keep yourself accountable

Having trouble keeping yourself accountable? Here are 4 ways:

  • Establish clear goals and objectives. When setting yourself a goal, break it down into manageable, achievable steps so that you can track your progress. Make sure to set realistic deadlines and set reminders for yourself to stay on track.

  • Seek the support of a friend or mentor. Having someone to hold you accountable can be a great help in keeping you on track. A mentor can provide encouragement, advice and guidance to help you stay focused. Want to kick it up a notch? Tell all your Instagram followers, that way you’re less likely to give up on your goal.
Keep Yourself Accountable
  • Track your progress and reward yourself for successes. Keeping a record of your progress will help you to stay motivated and remind yourself of how far you have come. Celebrate your successes and give yourself a reward for achieving your goals. Did you have your eye on a new bag or pair of shoes? What about a Tough Mudder event? Getting to buy something off of your wish list is a great motivator.
Keep Yourself Accountable
  • Reflect on your progress. Regularly take time to reflect on your progress, what has been working and what hasn’t. This will help you to identify areas where you can improve and develop strategies to ensure your success.
