What We’re Plotting
You may have heard everything’s bigger in Texas, and that includes Tough Mudder. We’re bringing our biggest and baddest obstacles to sprawling Texas countryside to see how tough you really are.
Choose from a 5K with 12 (or more) obstacles, a 15K with 20 obstacles, or an eight-hour Infinity course. It’s not your everyday road race: You’ll get more than a little muddy maneuvering our obstacles, and they’ll leave you breathless—partially from laughing with your teammates, partially from working your a** off.
So beginners, we recommend starting with a 5K, even if you’re a star athlete. Once you’ve mastered the 5K, you can push yourself to a 15K or Infinity event.
Austin’s Reveille Peak Ranch
Expect shoe-sucking mud, forest-lined trails, and the sun beating down on the Texas countryside. Creek crossings throughout the course add to the muddy mayhem and create even more natural obstacles to battle, and there will be steady elevation gains, with scenic views atop Austin’s rocky peaks.
