The Tough Mudder X 2018 Benchmark Workout has been programmed specifically to give athletes a taste of the Tough Mudder X challenge in the safe and cozy confines of the gym. The workout combines skill-based movements with cardio intervals and is meant to be done FAST.
Tough Mudder X is all about CAPACITY. Athletes who succeed and win this event are able to perform a wide variety of functional movements and complete obstacles under extreme fatigue. This workout is designed to be completed with movements unbroken and little to no rest between the workout and cardio intervals. Basically, you’ll need to set yourself on fire right off the bat and hold that pace all the way through.

The Tough Mudder X 2018 Benchmark Workout:
400 meter run or 500 meter row
21 – 15 – 9 reps each of:
-Chest to bar pullup
-Box jump (24″ male, 20″ female)
400 meter run or 500 meter row
15 – 12 – 9 reps each of:
-Dumbbell snatch – alternating arm (50 lbs male, 35 lbs female)
-Standing lunge w/dumbbell (same weight as snatch)
400 meter run or 500 meter row
9 – 6 – 3 reps each of:
-Power clean (95 lbs male, 65 lbs female)
-Thruster (95 lbs male, 65 lbs female)
