1,515 relentless athletes from 21 countries. One brutal 24-hour grind. One legendary castle ready to witness carnage. This wasn’t just a race. It was a worldwide triumph, where guts met grit and the spirit of never-quit was the only rule that mattered.
Obstacle Innovation: Designed to Destroy
The course architects didn’t mess about, these obstacles were created to break the only the best.
🔥 Fire Fly – Walk the Plank on steroids, but wait, there was a jump through fire thrown in for good measure.
🐵 Chunky Monkey – Funky Monkey got a PhD in pain. Your grip didn’t stand a chance.
🐀 Rat Frost – Crawl like a sewer rat, plunge into an ice bath, then get a face full of mud.
🧳 Lucifer’s Luggage – If Devil’s Beard was the intro, this one’s the full-on sandbag nightmare. Heavy, relentless, and guaranteed to crush your arms.
🍿 Netflicks and Chill – Lies, all lies. This low rig was cramp central. No chill.
⛓️ Swings Both Ways – The swinging boards that saved more butts than a pub chair at last orders. Timing was everything.
🎁 Surprise Obstacles – Because if you weren’t broken yet, we added fuel to the fire with midnight curveballs.

Teams, Legends & Unstoppable Spirit
Forget solo glory, this year was pure team hustle at its finest. Even the top champions grinding for prize money never stopped lending a hand. Mudders had each other’s backs every step of the way, whether hauling teammates through trenches or cracking jokes mid-crisis.
Back in the pit? Absolute legends. Hot drinks in one hand, tape jobs in the other, socks flying like lifelines, and pep talks sharp enough to cut through the wildness of witching hour.
Special shoutout to the legends who gave up their race to help people climb up Mudderhorn, haul Mudders over Everest, and give a much needed leg up over Brexit Barrier (renamed: Hero Walls) for you name it, 24 hours. When the going gets tough, the tough get helping.
These crews didn’t just support the event – they powered it.

The Great British Brunch
For once in mudder history, the bacon didn’t vanish (thanks to the incredible Jolly Hog). It was a full-on, greasy, glorious British brunch comeback. Beer from Prime Time flowed, sausages sizzled, and battered bodies found a little bit of heaven in hash browns and banter.
Then came the awards honouring our overall winners and the age group champions with prizes powered by Shokz headphones. But there were other awards, voted for by the community, which highlighted the extraordinary efforts of some legionnaires in particular:
🎖️ Amr – Camaraderie (King of teamwork and mucking in and the glue of the UK mud family)
🎖️ Andrew – Grit (The human embodiment of tough (also great at pretending it’s easy)).
🎖️ Andrew – Accomplishment (The very first Mudder to achieve 100 Tough Mudders AND 100 Tough Mudder volunteer shifts. Woah.
