Corporate Team Packages

Tough Mudder reinvents team building by bringing it outside the office and into the mud.

WHAT WE OFFER

Our approach to corporate leadership and teamwork development is just like us: anything but conventional. If your company is looking to mix things up and make a measurable positive impact – and memories – running a Tough Mudder as a team is a surefire way to do it. How tough is YOUR company?

What is Tough Mudder?

Tough Mudder events are 10-12 mile (18-20 km) obstacle course challenges designed to test your all-around strength, stamina, teamwork and camaraderie. With the most innovative obstacles and over one million participants globally to date, Tough Mudder is the premier obstacle course series in the world.

But what is Tough Mudder...to you?

Tough Mudder gives colleagues a life-changing, team building experience that's just not possible in an office setting. It's about training together, overcoming obstacles together and reminiscing after all's said and done – including proudly wearing their headbands the Monday after on what we call "Wear Your Headband to Work Day."

Traditional corporate leadership and teamwork development is...boring. Unchanged for years, generic teamwork and leadership training has become stale, while the need for corporations to build leadership, foster strong working relationships, educate and engage their employees remains more prevalent than ever.

Why choose Tough Mudder?

Tough Mudder is not a race, it's a challenge. And because of that, employees must band together to get through the grueling mud run obstacle course and make it across the finish line – together. The camaraderie and leadership that results is built through action, not through abstract jargon and exercises that play out on a whiteboard.

Nobody wants to sit in a room and listen to someone tell them how to be a team player, what they need to do to be a leader, or how to interact with other departments in the office. But with the option to join a Tough Mudder team, not only are employees engaged and excited, they work, lead and depend on each other as a team, practicing key skills that they could never learn or experience in a classroom.

"The event is an incredible team building experience – something that has changed the way our team works together, and that we could not have done anywhere else."

FAQs

How do I register my corporate team?

The TMHQ staff is standing by to help get you and your company registered quickly and easily. Please fill out the following Inquiry Form and we'll have someone reach out to you.

How can I pay for my corporate team?

We accept Check, Wire, ACH or Credit Card and can book your entire team in one transaction.

Does Tough Mudder provide training?

Yes, we do provide training. Find it here.

How long do we need to train/prepare?

This truly depends on your company and employees. We recommend giving at least six (6) weeks notice to your employees, but a longer prep time never hurt anyone. That said, some really badass, fit companies have even decided to sign up with just a few weeks before event day.

Do we all have to be elite athletes?

No. Tough Mudder events are designed to test all-round fitness and camaraderie. You will need to train beforehand – see our training program – but fitness alone will not get you across the finish line. You will also need mental endurance and the ability to work together in order to complete the course and overcome the obstacles.

Can employees participate without running?

Nobody can finish a Tough mudder without some support. Employees who would prefer not to run can sign up as spectators to cheer on their fellow teammates, or as volunteers to help out on the course. Both options are perfect ways to be a part of the group experience without running the event.

Can we support WWP/other charities?

Tough Mudder is very proud of our ability to help corporations raise money for Wounded Warrior Project, and other charities of their choice. Whether its through sponsoring, fundraising or a traditional donation, we're here to help you accomplish your philanthropic goals. For more info please inquire below.

Can our company bring a bus?

Yes, just be sure to let us know ahead of time by contacting your TMHQ representative, or submitting an inquiry below.

Is there food and beverage onsite?

Yes. Food and beverage will be available for purchase. If you choose the Gold or Platinum package, food is included.

Do our employees have to do the Electric Shock obstacles?

Um. We're waiting for a response from Legal on this one.

Can we bring a photographer?

This depends on the event site, as each one is different. Please inquire below and we'll have someone reach out to you.

"It's an opportunity for us to bring our teams together, and do some types of team building that we could never do on the 9 to 5 at work every day."

HR manager, Hyatt

"When you have other people with you...you can actually achieve a lot more than you could by yourself. I think there's a huge alignment with what we do as a business here. There's nothing that a lot of us can achieve on our own, but cross-functional teamwork is really what drives our business forward."
