This May, Mudders from across the country and globe will descend upon Pennsylvania’s beautifully unforgiving Brandywine Valley for an epic weekend of muddy miles and world-famous obstacles. The picturesque equestrian farmland is situated an hour from one of the nation’s first capitals, Philadelphia, but this destination will prove anything but your average stroll through historic hills. Pennsylvania’s Brandywine Valley
The Brandywine Valley – known for its rich art, deep history, and lush gardens – will be serving up classic Pennsylvania scenery all weekend long. Expect a mix of well-trodden horse trails, open fields, and rolling hills with a hefty dose of shoe-sucking mud. If that sounds like a walk in the park, think again: Open farmland allows the late-spring sun to beat down on your back, and riverbed crossings, slightly technical wooded trails, and the occasional steep incline will require you to saddle up and harness your inner horsepower.
It’ll be a wild ride, but completing your event will elicit an adrenaline high unlike anything you’ve ever experienced before.

You don’t have to be a seasoned obstacle course racing veteran to get muddy at Tough Mudder Philly. Choose from our 5K format with 12+ obstacles, our 15K with 20+ obstacles, or take the leap and see how many laps you can complete in 8 hours with Infinity, offered on Saturday only. Fair warning: the standing Infinity distance record is 85K, but who’s counting (except all of us?).
