The 2018 season is ready to run, and that includes a hair-raisin’, heart-pumpin’, course-rockin’ rollick through the trails at Old Bethpage Restoration Village, aka Tough Mudder Long Island. This event has everything a Mudder could ever want - wide open farm fields (for picking up speed), deep-woods trails (for hitting those curves like a boss), and obstacles as big as the Atlantic (for going up and over).

Tougher Mudder takes our signature Tough Mudder course and adds a competitive, timed twist. This first start wave of Saturday of event weekend allows Mudders to push themselves to a new level on the classic course, while still maintaining our core values of teamwork and camaraderie.

Get the peace of mind that you’ll automatically be in the 8:00 AM wave with First Mud. You will have access to the first Tough Mudder start wave of the day when the course is best and the mud is fresh. First Mud tickets are available for Saturday on a Tough Mudder weekend only - just add it your registration when you sign up, for only $15.

Tough Mudder Full, Tougher Mudder Event Day
Want to run the course at the same time as your friends and family? Make sure to create your team no later than two weeks before the event (two Monday’s prior). If you do not create or join a team by this date, we will not be able to guarantee the same start time for you and your teammates.
Please arrive 45 minutes before your assigned start time to ensure you can park, check in, drop your bag, and get to the Warm Up Zone 20 minutes before your start time. START TIMES WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED. For more info, visit our FAQ page here.

What to Bring
1. A valid photo ID*
Don’t forget it in your car.

For bag drop, food, and (more) beer.

What to Wear
At all events, we suggest wearing normal running shoes – spikes and cleats are strictly prohibited, but Merrell shoes are highly encouraged. Dress in comfortable clothing (or a costume that will make you more stylish on course) and bring dry clothing to change into once you’re done.
If it’s cold, gloves are recommended. If it’s hot, sunscreen is a necessity. No matter what the weather is, make sure to come hydrated and take advantage of water stations on course.
If you don’t plan on traveling home muddy, you’ll probably want to bring a change of clothes. Stop by the bag drop tent to store your belongings while you’re on course. $10, CASH ONLY.
Mini Mudder is a 1-mile muddy obstacle course designed for Tough Mudders-In-Training. Start waves will be every hour on the hour from 9am - 11am and 1pm - 4pm. Sunday, waves will be at 9am, 10am, 11am, and 1pm. Children must be at least 42 inches tall and accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.
