Dear Mudders, World’s Toughest Mudders, and Future World’s Toughest Mudders:
It’s that time of year again. The time of year when all of you crazy Mudders start deciding whether you want to put your body through one of the most challenging and badass events on the planet.
Ever since wrapping up in Wisconsin, BQ and the Best Friends Gang have been hard at work setting up Tough Mudder Michigan.
Since we’re the best in the biz, you may ask yourself how the Best Friends Gang handles the task of packing so much nonsense and badassery into one innocent piece of land.
Alright, Michigan. Here’s your answer, in chronological order.

What: Toughest Mudder Northeast (Philadeliphia)
Where: Plantation Field, Coatesville, PA
When: May 20, 2017 (12 a.m. to 8 a.m.)
Predicted Weather: High of 75°F, low of 58° overnight with scattered showers
Format: 1 five-mile loop course, 17 obstacles, 8 hours, as many laps as possible
Total gain per lap: 782 feet
Numbers: 780 participants
The inaugural Toughest Mudder took place this past weekend at the dry, dusty and incredibly steep Glen Helen Raceway in Los Angeles, California. Racers attempted to complete as many miles over the course of 8 hours starting at midnight and finishing at 8 a.m, with three men and three women ultimately prevailing as podium winners.
