In 2016, we've taken everything to the next level: obstacle innovations, on course experiences, and teamwork.

We brought back the obstacles you love most and introduced new creations tested, and approved, by the most hardcore Mudders on the planet at World's Toughest Mudder 2015. We dare you to dig deep, remember your roots, throw caution to the wind, and take the plunge.

Every obstacle on a Tough Mudder course tests your physical strength, but if there’s one that pushes the boundaries of your mental grit to the max, it’s Arctic Enema. This is one beast that no amount of preparation, physical or mental, will leave you feeling prepared for, but there are a few things to keep in mind the next time you take the mind-numbing plunge into sub 40 degree waters.

  • Don’t freak out, it expends your natural body heat.

  • Stay calm. Think. And just keep moving forward.

On July 25, we introduced Tough Mudder's Cousin in the City, Urban Mudder, to the world. At Randall's Island in New York City, thousands of Mudders, including Coach T. Mud himself, gathered to take on the very first 5-mile Urban Mudder course. So how'd it go down?

Watch episode twelve of Coachified and find out.

In an ongoing effort to mold Coach into the best Mudder he can be by getting him way, way out of his comfort zone, we (“accidentally”) signed him up for trapeze school during a recent visit to New York City.

See how he handled the pressure in Episode 10 of Coachified.

A few months ago, two Australians won a trip to one of Tough Mudder's most famous destination events - Tough Mudder Whistler. In today's episode of Coachified, Coach catches up with his Aussie mates after the finish line and encourages them to keep the training going.

This year we’re seeing more mudders sport smartwear than ever before – worn proudly on wrists as they make their pledge. When you’ve trained so hard it’s nice to be able to see that the work’s paid off and just how far you’ve come.

Take Team Sony for example, who’ve been using Smartwear devices for the last four months to help them train for our most recent event in Yorkshire. With celebrities including singer Vanessa White and writer and broadcaster Rick Edwards, Sony’s SmartWear has certainly come in handy.

Think finishing World's Toughest Mudder as a team is glory in itself? Indeed it is, but this year we've partnered with Cellucor to kick things up a notch - okay - 100,000 notches. If you and your team of 4+ complete 100 miles or more at WTM 2015, we're giving you $100,000.

Read on about Jason Rulo's journey through WTM 2014 and hear about the trials and tribulations of what is undoubtedly THE WORLD'S TOUGHEST COURSE.

By nature, Coach T. Mud is just a good ol' country mountain boy. But staying in the mountains wouldn't be so great for his newfound comfort zone-crushing philosophy would it?

In episode six of Coachified, Coach T. Mud takes a Mudder-sized bite out of the Big Apple in an effort to find what lies outside his comfort zone.

You've seen Coach T. Mud swivel his hips and pump his fist. But how will his mesmerizing signature moves fare in a hip hop dancing class? Find out in episode five of Coachified.
