While every Tough Mudder course has a “no whining” policy, this year, we have no choice but to be a little lax on this rule. The reason? Cry Baby-- Tough Mudder’s latest tearjerker of an obstacle that stirred up a media frenzy earlier this year.

An enclosed structure filled with a (safe) tear gas-like concoction brewed by our mad-minded course team, Cry Baby will have your eyes flowing with tears of, um, laughter--yeah, laughter.

Mark Holloway, a Tough Mudder-Help for Heroes Ambassador, has completed numerous Tough Mudder events and can often be found helping out with volunteer management one day and running multiple laps the next. Mark completed World’s Toughest Mudder 2014 in Las Vegas last month, while raising money for Help for Heroes.

By day Mark is a Colour Serjeant serving in the British Army. He has served in Afghanistan, where he was severely injured in the line of duty,  and now spends his time training future Army Officers at the Royal Military Academy at Sandhurst.

At World's Toughest Mudder 2014, the two respective WTM 2012 and 2013 women's champions, Amelia Boone and Deanna Blegg, will give their all for another chance at WTM glory.

Ironically, however, they won’t be direct competitors.
