We’re coming to the tallest peak in the Southern Green Mountains: Stratton Mountain. Here are five things to do nearby the New England Tough Mudder event to keep the good times rolling. Kick off the summer with us in beautiful Vermont.

5 Things to Do In New England

1. Explore State Forest Land

The Green Mountain State has a ton of natural landscapes to offer – why not check out its namesake on the hike of a lifetime? The trailheads at Green Mountain and Tuhuya State Forest offer breathtaking views no matter the trail – and there are options for all fitness levels.

2. Go For Golfing

For the golf lovers among us, you won’t have to go far to find premier greens. The Stratton Mountain Golf Course, nestled on the same resort grounds as Tough Mudder, is ready to welcome you for summer putting.

3. Take On The Mountain Bike Lift

Rent a mountain bike and head to the Stratton Bike Park for a ride on the lifts. Score a timed ticket to ride through miles of berms, rollers, rock gardens, tabletops and so much more on this scenic trail.

4. Go Brewery Hopping

The breweries near Stratton Mountain can’t be beat. Beer Naked Brewery and Snow Republic are just a short drive away. While a scenic drive to Brattleboro is needed to reach Hermit Thrush Brewery, McNeill’s Brewery, and Whetstone Brewery.

5. Cool Off On The River

The Battenkill River is calling your name. For those hot June days, take to the river with Vermont River Runners to rent kayaks, canoes, and tubes for the ultimate summer adventure.

Want in? Sure you do. Life is short. Register for your Tough Mudder New England event and plan to begin your summer with a Vermont adventure on June 4th & 5th at Stratton Mountain.
