THE VENUE
Lake Elsinore is where LA’s polished exterior goes to die. Hosted at the Diamond Stadium and its surrounding motor-cross tracks, this course swaps red carpets for sun-baked SoCal scrubland. You’ll grind through winding single-tracks and arid ridges that offer just enough elevation to make your quads regret every life decision leading up to this moment.
Expect a masterclass in grit as fine, silty dust transforms into a heavy, shoe-snatching sludge the second we add water. You’ll be scrambling over parched terrain with views of the lake (not that you’ll have the breath to admire them) before dropping into the basin for a face full of premium Inland Empire muck. It’s hot, dry, and serves as a brutal reminder that "scenic" is just code for "another hill."
